Default What the devil's the LAST thing I should pack up?

Surrounded by boxes and more boxes.
    Still packing!

So hints, suggestions, tips on what is the last items I should box up? Please?
Stock is selling, so most of that is to hand.
    The rest is anyone's guess.

I did remember to label each box for the new house.
And I've not even started dragging the stuff out the out buildings yet.

    This is fun .................not!

Put all your irreplaceable/important things, and computer and back ups and photos, ins policies, phone and address book (if you use one), passport, best jewelry, etc, all in one place for YOU to take, if you are having movers. Don't entrust any of it to them, and make sure it's locked in your car before movers (if you have them) move anything out of the house. Make sure you don't pack your keys..........lol...............

I can only add basic tools to that list - hammer, nails etc for quick fixes in new place - Otherwise it is excellent (and house moving is my specialist subject!)

Also, a few basic cleaning supplies, if you haven't had a chance to pre-clean. Think bathroom. And take toilet paper.

And if you are moving into a rental, you might want to take a couple light bulbs, in case the resident ones walked off................hard to unpack in the dark.

A thermos of hot coffee would be a great way to toast your new digs, too, esp in this weather!!

    Lightbubs.

    We have moved twice.
Each time there were no lightbulbs in the new property.

Just got a good tip from a neighbour.
Make sure there is nothing in your wheelie bin, as it will be the new people, who will be putting it out for the dustbin men.

Washing line? Really? Someone would take that with them?

Mind you she did want £450 to leave half the curtains in the house. I said no thank you.
