We talked about visiting, but don't know if we will.

If we did, I would be on a family history trip. My grandmother and her people (Hastings, Adams, Howard) lived at Birkenhead and there abouts. Grandfather was originally from Davenham in Cheshire. Some of the Shaws are buried at St. Wilfrid's Davenham.

Not certain when would be a good time to visit ... spring must be nice, but maybe a little rainy?

This is where I say "What Shaws?" and you reply "A pint of Lager and a Whisky chaser" I have been caught out like that before

Not that I know of. Great grandmother was a Shaw and she married a Rathbone and then a Woodward. She had lots of Shaw relatives around Davenham / Rudheath.

So if you come across any of those in your family line,we could be related!
