Default Odd Views on one listing?

    Hi,
Have listed one River Island shrug @ £3.99 (121767130) - it clocked up 200+ views within approx 8 days, worried that it would be costing ebid a fortune for such a small sum I removed the BIN option. It then carried on to just under 300 views before closing and re-listing at 0, approx 2 days ago. Have just checked it and it's at 40 views. What is going on - am I somehow tripping a bot spider or are the viewings thinking I'm selling an Island for £3.99?
If only half these figures are correct, should I just give up and remove this item - if it hasn't sold by now, it never will.
Grateful for any comments in this matter,
    Marie.

    Shrug it off.
Keep it listed until it sells. If the bots are all over it, it is not your problem and chances are more people get to know about it.

why take it off, there is nothing to say the views are correct as the counter is off it's head, Also how do you know it's getting views on google shopping. sorry but i don't understand why you have taken the bin off and now want to remove it. Just ignore the counter it's bonkers.

Agree with Bill. Views are unreliable at the best of times. Don't negate your chances of a sale by removing BIN.

My River Island slippers has over 500 views ~ so I do not bother with the counter now.
It seems to go up and down like the weather.

I did once have to take the word "silver" out of a QE2 Silver Wedding crown as it was pinging like crazy - changed it to 25 years and things slowed right down. Wouldn't mind owning an island in a river myself.

Thanks for the reminder. I have a Silver Jubilee beaker up for sale, which I meant to reduce a bit and forgot all about it - it's done now..

Just to say thank you for suggestions given. Item now showing 146 views, and this is on ebid only (poor little bots must be running around in circles!).
Will do as advised and keep the listing running, just in case one view works.
    Many thanks to all,
    Marie.
