I would like to suggest that there is an area at the top of the forum threads for stickies and, in particular, one for Support.

There already is ..... and Support already use them.

Take a look in the Plugs forum for an example.

I must be a bit obtuse today - or myopic - lol, because I can't see a link for Support at the top of the main forum.

Support create and use Stickies. There is one in the plugs forum.

A link to Support - via the CONTACT US page - appears at the bottom of every single forum page.
