I use e-cigs regularly as a substitute for real cigarettes, and the only possible thing that could be harmful is the level of nicotine in them. The brand I use (Jacvapour) allows you to choose the level of nicotine, from none at all to very high. If I choose no nicotine, there is nothing harmful about them at all. Nicotine itself can raise the heartbeat and is addictive, so it would be better to go for no nicotine at all, but as a substitute for real harmful cigarettes they are brilliant. And surely it's better that young people choose e-cigarettes than real ones, if they are going to start smoking.
