Seeds of doubt

I bought some seeds from US on Ebid on 12th August.

The seller took until 20th August to send me an invoice with combined postage (two packs). I paid the same day.

They are not marked as sent on the After Sale Log.

I have issued a question asking when the seeds should arrive, and nudged the question on Wed 25th Sep.

When should I stop being patient, and what should I do next?

I think you've waited long enough! I'd leave a negative to see if that produces a reaction (you can always change it if things improve) If it doesn't produce a reaction within a couple of days then proceed with a dispute.

I usually send a "final" email directly to the seller indicating that will need to open a case with PayPal (if that's how you paid) by a certain date (usually 3 days) if I don't have notification of shipment.

You may also want to check with the company you used to pay and make sure you are still within the time frame to open a case.

Hmmmmmmm I'm not sure that you are legally allowed to ship seeds internationally from the USA

And i'm not sure if you are legally allowed to import seeds into the UK......unless they are from a licensed supplier & are on DEFRA's "safe" list.

Chances are, if UK customs get their hands on them, they will be destroyed.

I get seeds regularly from Hong Kong, but perhaps goods from US are more suspect?

Anyway, the seller responded by saying that the goods will be resent using tracking. Good result, and I will thank the seller later.
