NO!!! That's one of the adrenaline rushes of online auctions...how late can you get your bid in, AND win?!Originally Posted by gazza
If it's optional...well, OK, as long as the auction carries a clear message that this will happen....
I personally don't think I'll ever use it...but I haven't read the rest of the posts yet....
And I didn't look at the date of the OP before posting![]()
Having second thoughts about this one due to negative feedback. It won't be in the v5.0 (eBId.tv launch) but we will be willing to add as an option (possible paid option) in the future.

I'll just add my vote:
OK, but must be an option to turn it on/off.
As either a straight Yes or No, I say No, I wouldn't want it.
As a seller, I wouldn't want potential buyers put off by thinking they could be outbid even though they had bid with one second to go.
And as a bidder, I like to snipe manually. :-)
Cheers.
I can not wait till its a option as the other auction sites i use do a bid extender. if a bid is recieved in the last 60sec it extends for 60sec until all bidding is closed, now if its a popular item this can take quite a long time but it stops snippers and gives everyone a fair chance to win.
