All I can advise you is not to ship out item until you have been paid. If you don't get paid (I personally wait at least 7 days with reminders on 4th an 7th day), then go through the eBid motions of getting back your FVF if any then leave negative feedback to warn other sellers.

do you think i will be able to sell it for $850-900 on ebid?
i havent tried selling it yet
and should i auction it or just sell for set price?

i will try to answer as fast as possible

I know the online shopping channels are selling their 15" laptops for less than what you are asking for your 13.3", especially Dell, a very popular model. I've seen them sell between $599 - $799 depending on screen size and memory (at least 4gb ram).

Usually buy my computers strait from the factory/company. I would never expect an individual seller to be able to compete with their pricing, unless they were a distributor, or importer, etc. I like the factory guarantees also.

I understand what youre saying, i agree that it really is not worth that much, im sure it cost dell a fraction of the price they are selling at to make the computer, but the computer is really thin and looks nice, thats the only reason its so expensive...
you can get the same specs for a lot cheaper but honestly for most people that dont know anything about computers, all they care about is the look. that is the only reason its so expensive... i bought my sister a 500 dollar computer new with windows 8, 3rd generation core i5, 6gb ram, 500gb hard drive, intel hd graphics 4000....
but when my friend wanted for me too look for a computer for him he was like "make sure its white and i can go on the internet"...

so honestly price is only expensive cause it looks nice.... same thing with macs (they dont really have special parts or anything, its only a different operating system)

anyway theres 1 guy on this site selling it at 902 dollars (selling the computer i have)
    heres link -----> http://us.ebid.net/perl/main.cgi?go=...rds=xps+13&go=

but do you think this is the right site to sell this laptop at, or should i go to ebay?
id rather not cause ebid has very low fees, but i just dont want to mess up on the first thing i sell.

    thanks for all the help!

i agree with you, honestly im also kinda like that. I just feel safer to buy from dell than bid for it online.
I guess if i do sell it, ill try to make sure my customer feels safe with the purchase. anyway the computer
is brand new so they could just call dell and ask for help if they had a tech problem... but i'll always do
    anything to help.

also do you or anyone else think i should allow returns? i read that one person sold an item, but the customer
wanted to return and he ended up getting a worthless item instead of the thing he sold. so that kinda scared me
    when i read it....
but i also do not want my customer thinking im trying to scam them by saying no returns....
    so thats another problem
any advice about this wold be really helpful.
thanks again to everyone for helping a newbie out
i really do appreciate all the replies
