Why do our listings keep vanishing on Google Products ?

This has been going on with the US side since the beginning of the year. If Astral remembers, I posted something about this some time ago. It has nothing to do with exempt being added, since that is a recent change. I complained to the powers that be and received the same standard replies. It has now crossed the pond it seems.

I would be good if ebid told us what they think the problem is.

Eg is it listings details
iIs it ebid data feed
s it payment
Is it Googles servers
Is it Googles policies

Otherwise ebid members are all just guessing.

Slight improvement, 8.12pm before they disappeared tonight. That will be it now till midnight on Google Shopping, just hoping for visitors and sales from organic Google searches and anyone else who might find me.

Let us know what search terms (exact) you are using and the ID of an item you think should be showing.

We have been speaking to Google about the problem and there are many many aspects that they take into consideration when they decide what results to show to the individual viewing the results. CPC bid, click thru ratio, viewer location, viewer history, time of day, repetition count, number of items within a subaccount, how many times items from the subaccount have been shown already and many more.

It is not an exact science and we cannot guarantee you will personally see the results you wish for each time as every single user is different in Google's eyes.

We will keep working on things to fine tune the best we can as time progresses.

I have been almost constantly monitoring my listings for around a week, and for the first time they have returned in the evening. been a bit busy and checked them at 8.48pm. They were back, not sure how long they had been back for, but they are still there 12 minutes later. Not saying that all is rosy again, but I am more optimistic than I have been that the end of the problem is in sight.

Gazza nobody could see anything from ebid at this time of the evening for over a week now. Not our own items or anybody elses, no matter what we searched for !

My items usually started showing again on Google just after midnight but tonight is the first time they have reappeared earlier.
