News media from around the world have gathered outside the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth.
The BBC's Royal Correspondent, Nicholas Witchell is just one of the reporters waiting outside the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, London, where the baby is expected to be born.

So exciting! I wonder if they want a boy or a girl? Or maybe like my sis and her hubby they don't care, as long as the baby is healthy.

He likely doesn't. As far as I am aware (and I have zero interest in the matter) even the parents do not (by choice) know.

Truthfully, I don't wish them any harm - just rather they went. Though the alternatives are no more appealing.
