Forgot to say - hope Christine's sketch raises tons of money when it's raffled off.
Lovely pictures Trish! I have never seen a lambs ears plant, Hmmmmmm!
Nice cool day here, the wind blew this morning and it wasn't very pleasant so we spent the day working on the computer, which we really needed to do anyway. We have a big pile of parts to add to the site. Next week is wedding week for Liz - a girlfriend is the bride and she is the MOH. I will go and visit with the animals while they are gone. The wedding is Sunday and they have planned a couple days of mountain biking and then a little trip. I always miss her when she isn't in town, even though if she were, I don't always go to visit her.
I YDC, Do you?
Good morning with wall to wall sunshine in the U.K..
A Coffee please?
cheers Tony
Where is everybody?
Blimey thats bad Al
that does sound good Al
Well, I'm checking in too.
Had a brilliant day.
It's been really hot and sunny with above average temps, and no wind or cloud. YIPPEE!
JR and I went to a car boot sale this morning - we were rather late in getting there, as JR will insist on cooking a full English breakfast on a Sunday.
Well, I wasn't too bothered as I only wanted to get some plants for the borders and tubs.
I got what I wanted at a really good price as the store owners were hot and tired and were starting to pack up and were willing to sell off their stuff at reduced prices.
We then went to The Greyhound pub at Pettistree and sat outside in the orchard garden and I had a pear cider and JR had a real ale brewed locally, which he really enjoyed. We both had kettle chips to munch on as well!
JR mowed the front lawns and strimmed the borders and I potted up the tubs and borders with my new plants.
Got to say that the garden looks so lovely now.
The poor dogs - with their all black thick coats are feeling the heat - I sure wished that we had a pool that I could drop them in ... you are so lucky Al, having a pool - I'm green with envy.
