Coffee please?
We worked yesterday. Took lots of pictures and I was very tired, but alas no rest for the wicked, I didn't feel wicked yesterday, but I sure do today. My neighbors to the North (I think they may be from Oklahoma) had a party with lots and I do mean lots of loud fireworks. Last explosion was at 12:30 am. I can tell they aren't from around here as 1. it is very dry this year and there were very few fireworks going off and 2. You can buy fireworks here that illegal other places and they definitely took advantage of that.
We had a problem with the power at the house in Cheyenne and those phone calls started at 11:30 pm. Turns out it was fuses, and perhaps some switching going on. I hope not, if I ever get proof someone is gonna get yelled at.
So, this morning my realtor friend calls. I haven't heard anything about my commercial property that some person is trying to buy, and I don't think he has the money since I asked him to get a loan pre approval - maybe a week and a half. It was easy to handle - until I have proof of the loan pre approval I ain't talking about anything. But, after last night it didn't improve my mood so I guess I will be a curmudgeon today.
Thanks for letting me cry on your shoulders.

Hey Wyo, I hear ya, my neighbors were shooting off pretty late last night, too, (and I'm not convinced it was all fireworks). Fortunately Winston was OK with the noise, well, better than me anyhow.
Fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed your property sale goes through...
Cheers,
Thanks for the good wishes Sues, but I am not sure I am interested in that outcome anymore. I think this guy is so full of it that getting to the desired conclusion with everything in one piece is a pretty tall order. I would like to see something happen with the property, but it needs a lot of TLC.

Gee, can hardly wait. Tim McGraw concert (charity event) today.
90 degrees and Country music. He is signing one of Christine's sketches then it's being raffled off.
I'm impressed!

Hi everyone - summer has arrived in UK at long last.
It's been the hottest day of the year today and tomorrow is said to be even hotter with a high around 30C - roughly 86F
According to the (mostly inaccurate) weather it's now 72F at 10pm
Needless to say - the barby had to come out and ole JR and I had a lovely late afternoon together chatting and eating and drinking.
I thought that you might like to see some flower pics - so, here y'are.
The roses are absolutely MASSIVE ....the peach one is 'Schoolgir' and the yellow/pink tinged one is 'Peace'
The Lamb's Ear plant (which my son Dominic bought for me when he was only a little boy, and has kept growing and multiplying for all these years) is a bee magnet, and is smothered with bees collecting the pollen.
