jewellery hallmarks need help identifying plz

got these gorgeous items at first i thought they were norwegian mabye one is but i have no idea and have been searching for hours with no luck on makers.

the cross has nicely signed mark but i can't make out the signature hallmark to try and locate the maker and the ring is only marked M&S which i don't believe is marks and sparks as it would be english hallmarked as it is sterling silver and has been tested, it also looks to have a really nice large topaz in the centre with either white topaz or crystals around it engulfed in a lovely green enamel this is a huge chunky ring. any help on either peices will be appreciated.

are you sure that is an & between the M and S?

nope not sure at all lol but it does look like & more than an 8 or anything else so i'm more sure than not from looking at it at different angles

i've tried taking more for you to decide i do think it's an & in the middle but will be greatful for any help towards it

lol would love to think it was this maker as it would be an expensive ring although i live in edinburgh i bought on the other place and if it was edinburgh sterling it would have proper english hallmarks which it's lacking. so i ruled that one out
have another few photos sorry guys i only have an olympus fe-120 camera and this is the best i can get.

what i can add is that under 7 grammes of silver it doesn't have to be hallmarked this weighs 9.9 grammes most of that will actually be the stone and the enamelling and not the silver so it could be about 5 grammes so who knows but they thought enough to stamp it with their mark.

Maybe it was a ring designed for MARKS & SPENCER GROUP PLC. I poked around and found this to be quiet a coincidence that this organization deals in jewelry too.
