About time the government woke up and realised that the majority of the money given away in aid doesn't even make it to doing what it is intended for after the governments and whatever officials have had their take, what's left doesn't do the job the aid was intended for. And our government is too dumb to make sure these governments in these countries having aid from us account for every penny spent, where it is spent etc. I say cut £6billion from the aid then there'd be no need for further cuts. Why are we giving aid to a country like India that has a bloody space program? Yes, there are poor people in certain places across India, but that is the Indian governments fault for wasting money on a space program instead of tackling the poverty issue. I say cut the aid budget and make sure every penny is accounted for, where it is spent and if that is not done, stop aid altogether. Sort our own country our first.

I think you'll find that we have elections in the UK

I was referring to politicians generally, not just the current ones.

I voted for my favourite party for the European elections and got exactly what I wanted...2 M.E.P.s and reps that speak for me and help make changes.

You won't find me making suggestions relating to the current parliament ....I speak to those who actually care.
