I can login to forum but not my ebid account

Hi everyone

I hope someone can work this out for me. It is probably something on my computer making this happen. I have started out again on Ebid and went in to change my email address. I received an email in my new email address with a link to confirm and reset password. Trouble is when I click on the link nothing happens. This email only lasts an hour so it says. I tried just going in and logging on to Ebid but error comes up. However, I can login to forums so hoping someone could please help me get this sorted out. Thank you in anticiption

Have you tried copy and pasting the link into your browser to open a new window ? If that doesn't work I would email support@ebid.net and ask them what to do. They will probably be snoring at the moment as it is 1.20am over here but if you put a ticket in now I'm sure they will answer as soon as they wake up ! Support are very good on eBid and you will get a reply from a human being !

Thank you Cornishmaid. Yoohoo I am logged on. What I did was add ebid to compatable (thought it might work). closed down and restarted computer. By this time the hour was up on the email but I copied and pasted the renew password other link from the email on a new browser and got through to ebid where I was then able to reset the password. Not sure if the compatable thing worked as I had tried to do what you said earlier to no avail. This time it worked. Thanks again for your support and help.

Sounds like you are using IE10

Sounds like you are using IE10

It might just have been an email problem. Sometimes people don't have their email settings right to accept the 'donotreply' emails.
