Help with camera please

can someone please tell me how to clear the memory and and make my camera use the card. it is a Kodak SIXE 8.1 mega pixle. I bought it off someone on ebid and it's stopped reading the card and filled it's memory for some reason that is beyond me. Ta in advance

You might need to get a new memory card. I have had to replace one before as I couldn't get to delete the photos from a certain point

Oh right, but the cards we have are working in Mikes pentax camera but I aint allowed to play with that one incase i throw it at somfink or hit it like I did with the cannon, can't remember if its one hen or two hen's.

I can't match the product identifier you give to a Kodak product. Is there some other name on it?

My Kodak, by default, ignores the internal memory if a memory card is fitted. Have you tried removing and reinserting the card? Have you another card you can try?

Again on mine, on the setup menu there is an Image Storage option to control where images are sent. The setting are AUTO (use card if fitted or internal memory if no card fitted) or INTERNAL MEMORY (force use of internal memory).

No Mel it just says Kodak si XE on it.
Will try and look in a bit the battery is now flat

I think I have managed it mel, it looked like some of the pictures were locked ( protected) someone has been messing, just waiting for a new SD card and then hopefully click away.

Can you not just format the card?

It was the card out of Mikes camera so i thought best not to. It's all working fine now thanks.
