Any photoshop gurus on here? Help needed please

I want to see if I can make my pics look like this, but I don't know the steps to use in photoshop.

I'm not that good at photoshop anyway, so it's a bit ambitious!

I don't have Photoshop, but I found a tutorial on the web that may help you. Although the tutorial uses reflected text, I would imagine that the process is the same when using an ordinary image.

Thanks, that's half the problem sorted, but type is already isolated and you can move it to any background you want, so I need to also know how to move an object to a solid colour background without too much hassle before I put in the reflection.

It sounds like you need help with some of the basic functions like using cropping, lassoo tools and cut & paste, so try some of these tutorials:
