    Default Flooding in the Midwest

Official rainfall not in yet (it's still raining here)! By my own calculations...a lot!
Several Highways and expressways are closed, motorists are stranded and land along rivers are flooded.

I'd rather have cats and dogs - but hope it eases for you soon!

Yikes ... those pics are scary, I do hope that everyone managed to escape the floods and get out of their vehicles and homes without loss of life.

Our rain guage holds 5" and it ran over.

I had traveled 110 miles to our south on Wed, the temp was 79 when I started home, dropped to 59 in about 30 miles and to 45 in another 20 miles and stayed there the rest of the way.

I had dressed for the cooler weather but was happy when I saw sunshine and felt the sun rays on my skin----then it was back to reality.

I'm from Colorado. I saw the news and read about the devastation. Our thoughts are with you in the Midwest!
