It sounds like happy families in here! I was abandoned this afternoon - flipping work phone call for OH at 12.30 and he's been working until about 5 - 5.30 pm. It does mean an extra day for our next trip to Devon, but we could have done without it.
Buttons, I actively discourage my OH from doing any shopping. He always brings stuff back we don't need or can't use before it goes off. Very occasionally he comes with me to the supermarket and I always end up spending a lot more.

Only one loss today and 24 new listings. Am running a sale though for one week - I hope with good results; sarg will have to look the other way.

I only losted 2 today but listed 15 and then edited them all twice each some three times as I whatsitted them up so much for list as simlar....mistake on the first one went through them all.

Blimey buttons ... you actually got a bog-roll holder put up?
I put mine in the bin, it was pine, and used to be in the upstairs bathroom, until we re-decorated in black and white.
I asked OH to put it into the downstairs loo, he stuck it up with those sticky pads.
It fell off after a few hours.
I wouldn't mind, but I have bought him so many tools - including electronic screwdriver - but he hides them in the garage so that he has an excuse.
I need to get Lucias bedroom all redecorated ready for my sis and bro-in-law that are coming to visit shortly - watch out for WAR.
As for his shopping .... perleeese ... don't even get me started on that.
I already have steam coming out of my ears ....

It sounds like I am so lucky my OH is too ill to attempt any of these household tasks. I do them myself and usually make a mess of it but i've no-one to blame but myself.
Been sleeping all day. Woke up briefly at 6 but went back to sleep. OH says its been attempting to snow.
no-one has taken advantage of my marathon sleep - no break ins to report and no listings either.
Still tired. After ive had a cup of tea i think i'll go back to bed.
Have dentist tomorrow but he is 11 miles away and I have to go by bus so a 10 minute appointmnt is going to take 3 1/2 hours and i dont know if i'll be fit for it. This chest infection is very draining.

Mael, I hope you're taking antibiotics to get you over it. Rest as much as you can, take it easy.

Lucky or unlucky with my OH. He has a garage full of tools and when he does a job he does it well, but...................getting him to do something is a different matter! Usually it comes to the point that I ask him for a tool, which he refuses to give me with a promise that "he'll do it tomorrow". He doesn't specify how many days have to pass until the right "tomorrow" arrives though.
