email problem

Has anyone else got problems with BT Yahoo mail. I am getting multiple copies of the same email sometimes up to 40 on the same one mail. I rang BT and got a goon twice, the first one cut me off and the second one who I could barely understand, wanted to do remote control on my computer so I told him no that it was BT server that was sending and sending over and over again, then he told me to change my passwords and that would stop me getting spam, so I told him no that I was not getting spam and wanted the mails but not 40 of them, and that was it goodby from goon. the email that keeps coming into my inbox at the moment is still stuck in my online BT account and still continues to be sent. anyone else have this problem?

I.ve just checked my BT Yahoo account and no problems.

I can't work it out penni, I have to keep going into my on line bt email and deleting them.

1) If you or the sender set up mail forwarding, there may be a loop of some kind ...
2) How are you accessing your mailbox? Via Outlook or online?

May give a clue...

Outlook express, I havent set up any mail forwarding or anything and it's not from any one sender its most of them, these are mostly emails that I exspect to get and some from ebid as well.

Oh, no ... do not end the story before you solve the mystery. Had this issue a couple of years ago and never did figure out why. Would love to know what was the cause.
