I have now got it and printed out. Will have a look over the weekend for suitable wool and keep you all informed how I get on. It looks easy enough

They're lovely.
I learned to crochet as a child and can remember making doyles (sp?) and little tops for my dollies, but probably haven't done it since I was about 11 or 12. I've recently had several attempts, but I can't get it right. I need to find someone who can do it, who can guide me through; tried working from a magazine, but it just didn't work.
Right, here is a pair I have made. But I think they are too small. They are 8.5 cm long, but it's been such a long time since I have been close to a small baby I could be wrong. Opinions please. It may be that the yarn is not thick enough, but I wanted to use what I had, rather than buy new
8.5 cm is not too small for a small person!
They look lovely.

Penni and Madelaine, if you think they are big enough I'll be listing them this afternoon and will also start on the next pair. I am thinking also to make a larger version by using the yarn double
Love these!
I believe the pattern can be had for free. I've seen those on All-Free Crochet newsletter that I get...I'll keep an eye out for it.
Well, I bought mine,as I have mislaid a booklet full of patterns for fancy booties. But tidying is really something I will have to do and then I am sure to find it
