I don't think it would be good for ebid to realese all 3 apps at the same time.
With all new software there are always bugs and ebid will need to fix them.
So best to do them one at a time.
Until the app is out I would like the ad blocked that simply says 'Download the app now' with an arrow at the side. I got all excited last night when I first saw it thinking it was THE APP, I even clicked it. Alas it was a gaming site, oh well at least eBid might get paid for the click through.

Ebid is really missing out with this. It's been in the works since I signed up here at Ebid. An app will do TONS for Ebid, take for example the scenario with me last night. I was in bed and in the middle of the night, I decided I wanted to finally buy some Business Card Holders. I didn't want to get up and get on my computer, and I didn't want the hassle of pulling up a site, but wanted the ease of an app. So, sadly I pulled up the Ebay app, and found some business card holders, and bought them right on the spot at 3am my time. Now, during the day, I go out of my way and make sure to check ebid first and foremost. I would rather buy from where I'm selling at. If ebid had released their app, which is seemingly taking forever to come, I would have probably bought what I wanted here instead of the other place.
In short, At least some good news or some sort of word on the Android/iPhone Apps would be greatly appreciated. Hanging around with hopes, but no word is driving me batty!
I'm sure they will release the Apple one as soon as its approved.
No word yet on the Android one.
I read some stats the other day on how people access some of the top general websites and its nearly 50 percent on mobile!
That astounded me.
So the mobile apps when they come should give ebid quite a boost.
And then there is the API.
Gazza mentioned in another thread that there were a few problems with the app and it was due to be resubmitted to Apple at the end of last week. If they know the problems and have addressed them then with luck it will go through Apple testing this time and be released. Though sometimes solving one problem can create another problem elsewhere. Lets hope we get positive news this week.

When you're a business owner on the go, it's very much easier to use mobile. Now when I have the chance, I use my laptop, but even then, in the middle of the night, I'm not likely going to use my laptop...I'll just pull out my phone, as it's easier.
