Morning - and I'm sorting postcards to tx over from D............ - no wonder I slept like a log last night with a JR curled up next to my feet (she was on top of the duvet, I might add)

The day job later so must tidy up a bit - but first another mug of tea

Rex sometimes seems to get lonely around 4am some mornings and ends up coming up stairs, jumping on my bed, and curls up next to me and goes back to sleep until 7am

    morning all.
I ended up outside in my dressing gown this morning. OH was leaving when he spotted a pair of red kites. Had to go and have a look for myself. No pictures though, I wasn't awake enough yet!
Just about to have a coffee and then scanning, ready for today's listing.

Glad to hear Meebo that MIL is on the mend,

It was a damp cold feel out with the dog today not nice at all.

Rex seems to dribble a lot, feel as though should have a bib on.

    No losses to report.

Private Hurry can't you keep those newbies under control on your side of the pond ? I woke up to find one of them had sneaked in at 3.00am and pinched a listing. Disgraceful behaviour when I was snoring in my bunk !

Glad you are feeling a bit better Corporal Somerset I expect you to be back on full listing duties soon if the dog hasn't swallowed the stamps !

I'm off to take the Old Soldier for his diabetic eye check this morning so see you later.

Freezer defrosting day here........yuck, I am also hoping that OH may do some work on the bedroom today as so far we have three strips of paper stripped off, at the moment he is walking round sulking as I had a go at him last night as he kepy getting up the ladder patting a bit or ceiling paper that has come loose, he didn't do anything to fix it, just patted it all sodding day.

I defrosted our freezer a week or two ago. The fridge part is now (still) acting up and freezing everything. Love frozen lettuce. I suppose i could make lettuce soup. I turned it to the warmest (I think), but things freeze - so have moved it to the opposite end of the temperature scale, so we will see. May see flames coming out next.

Your puppies sound so loving....that is so nice to have good buddies like that. Our pheasant visitor is still around, so I hope he keeps his head low a bit longer.

buttons - give OH a stapler next time he's up the ladder.......that should work!! lol Reminds me a bit of when my ex and I wallpapered our bedroom wall behind the bed, then turned in for the night. A couple hours later we woke up hearing this strange noise.....sticky-rip sounds...getting louder, and a thuff-thuff-thuff...............turned on the light and all the strips had unrolled themselves about halfway down the wall.
    Ta-Ta for now!

You know Linda I think I should have disaster wrote on my head, the shelf was frozen in the freeze so had to leave it in while it defrosted, well the ice on the sides & top came loose, fell on the shelf and broke it, it did have plastic shelves for some reason best known to it's self, the fridge bit has glass shelves and I am waiting for someone to smash one.........why me. Any way i just bought my self a nice sindy doll for £22 that I should get £75ish if I do her up and sell her ( not much hope of that )

Yikes. I can't imagine plastic shelves in a freezer. I agree....not sure what bright spark thought that one up. The word brittle comes to mind.

I bet your Sindy doll will be gorgeous!!! I used to love playing with dolls, and my grandmas would make clothes for them. SUch fun!
