    Welcome Jkel!

Are you willing to offer shipping outside the US? I find you get many more views when you offer international shipping.

Wishing you every success here at eBid,

I sold a bunch of Boy Scout patches a while back, so they do sell, but it took a while. They need to be spotted by interested buyers, who maybe only look every now and then.

But collectables do sell , iv'e sold postcards, stamps, and vinyl records regularly.

Anything will sell if it is listed to do so. By that I mean that there are successful techniques that can be used on eBid and some that will give less success. I cannot see your listings so it would appear you do not offer international shipping, I will try to take a look later via the USA site, but I would suggest watching the forums for others who are given advice on selling and use that yourself.

As you have only been a member for a few days I would not be too concerned if you have not sold yet, but spend your time finding out how eBid works best for those who do sell on here.

    Hello......

    Keywords.............

    Scout

You only have one listing with the keyword scout in the title - on the others there is no mention of this vital keyword.
Having patch as a keyword is good - but you need badge in the title as well.

Think about how a buyer searches for an item - a scout badge collector's most likely search term is scout badge and if they search that way you have nothing for sale.

eBid is all about exposure for your listings - enabling buyers to find your items, miss out the keywords and the buyers think there is nothing for sale. I wouldn't worry about views - views are not indicative of sales - make sure those buyers who are actively searching for items can actually find them..

It is more difficult for a SELLER rather than a SELLER+ as the items have no significant google exposure, there is no shop and no buy it now price etc...... At $49.49 the lifetime membership could give you so many benefits.

Hi, I don't mean to be the grim reaper but I didn't even get a view, nevermind a bid on a 3rd year 1968 OPC Beckett graded 3.5 Bobby Orr and the starting bid was 99 cents! I had lesser cards on there and thought I would test my theory that there is next to no traffic on this site. I'm just being honest as my auctions had just ended this morning and this was the last straw. If you can't even get a view on a card worth at least $200 and not even a stealth buyer swooping in at the last mintue for the steal, it really makes me wonder - I didn't even try to end it early as I was so confident that Ebid is a farce - figures that ebay owns it......

You can check out cards I had on auction and the few views you see are what I got from going in to edit the listing - the same thing goes with ebay. I hope this helps but I wouldn't get caught up in it. I ask questions and have gone to support which is non-existent anyway. I wasted $50 but I guess that is my own fault as I should have looked into it a little more. I guess I was just tired of ebay stepping on me and countless others for stupid reasons and thought this may work out, well I was wrong - Good luck to you but as far as I'm concerned, I'm not wasting any more time with this futile venture - I'm outta here!!!!!

For some reason I don't understand you seem incapable of understanding that eBid is not owned by eBay - and your total negativity has been answered before so I won't waste time & energy repeating it all again.

Since you are unwilling to switch your own gear for a truer one why don't you just do what you keep saying you are going to do? (outta here)

Maybe where you went wrong was not wasting time but not spending it wisely. Did you check out how successful sellers manage to do so on eBid? Did you check the forums and vast range of help available? Did you ask for any assistance either before listing or when your listings were live.

The simple fact is that there are a large number of very successful sellers on eBid, I am one of them,, but they all have one thing in common, they put in effort, they listen , they adapt their listings to suit the selling platform. If you would like to join this not too select group of people then I would advise that you do the same.

It is also worth promoting your listings on any social networks you use as well.
