I've been pretty negative about eBid over the last few months - as some of you have pointed out, lol.

But....you 'have to be innit to winnit' as they say, so I am putting on my positive hat and revamping my listings - and my ideas. I have decided to concentrate solely on vintage knitting patterns - hence a slight change to my ID, and have been listing like mad over the last two days. Still a way to go but I will keep at it.

This doesn't just apply to nature but to all kinds of situations, like our businesses.

I used to sell internationally on the other site until postal costs went up. But I had a fairly regular buyer say she would still purchase from me if I would send by surface mail. Another regular buyer cancelled his order when postage went up - really annoyed me as I re-weigh everything and I must have saved him around £15 in postage!!!! So........I decided from that point on, not to sell outside the UK.

Will have a re-think, depending how it goes.

I don't have many knitting patterns/booklets listed but have sold 2 or 3 internationally - as Jan said, it costs nothing

I will consider GOING GLOBAL but, on attempting a bulk edit, I can only see one price option. Obviously, I need two - Europe and Worldwide. Do I have to edit individually?

Once your items are in a bulk edit bucket you should see a - and + box to the right of the international shipping option. Click on the + for more options

Yes, Moonie, that is so true. I have had to adapt to change many times over the last fifty years of marriage: OH has had several serious illnesses which has meant life changes. But, we have adapted and survived to tell the tale
