I think it means you can put in a main (parent) category.....like Collectables, and sub categories .....like: Baseball cards, China, Dolls, Postcards......(whatever you would have under collectables.......
Have you checked out the helpful FAQ's and videos....found by clicking the help button at the top right of any page, then looking to the left?

Also, astral has a great thread going on getting started. It's probably in there, too.

    Many Thanks for that.
I am allowed to have items in my store that I currently have on auction or is this considered a duplicate listing?

You can not have auctions duplicated on eBid (in store or not).......so, having it in a store makes no difference that way. Only one allowed.
    However, you can have listings of the same item, if they are different............such as: T-shirt - size L, T-shirt - size M, T-shirt - Red, 3 T-shirts - size M, 3 T-shirts - Red, etc.

Having items in your store gives you a bit more exposure, IMHO. If some is looking for car engines doing just a search on eBid, they will find any listings, in a store, or not. However, if a person only clicks the STORES tab above and does a search only in the stores (not realizing there are items NOT in stores) then they will still see your car engine.

Nomeq, you need to remove all your contact details from your about me page. This is not allowed on eBid.The picture you have also would need to be changed. All the links to greedbay in your listings need to be disabled too & your store banner changed. We'd hate to see you suspended before you've even got started!

OK, I've just deleted my store until I get it right!
I didn't realise I had links to Ebay in my listing. Where do I find the links and how do I disable them??
Thanks for your help and sorry for all the questions!!

ok..... Start again.....lots of us have done that.
1? click the help, and read the FAQ's on the left, exp about Listing and selling..............gives most all of the do's and don't there.......
You had the right idea for a pic............but as contact details........phone, outside website address etc are not allowed, that particular one won't work. Maybe you have a pic of one of your best items, or of your cute face, or your office, or something general..........a sunset....etc. Look around at other sellers' sites, and get an idea of what is done. I suggest you pick people who are active on the forums (shows they are active) and have good feedback.

Then, if you have more questions, c'mon back and ask!!! Good luck.
