Well, happy birthday to the old soldier! Hope all goes well at the dentist.

None lost. Those Canadian numbers are all over the place. This morning under 3 million. What the heck!? Just when I get all excited that the listing numbers were increasing. Drat.

I am back from the hospital - splint only worn at night for the next 4 weeks, crutch only needed for crowd control (so I don't get trampled on) and I can use my bike again in 2 weeks. No physio required either and in all probability no further visits needed. I am happy! So how was the dentist's visit? Maybe it'll be the last time (reminds me of a song)

That's good news that you will soon be back in your army boots Private Meebo !

Dutiful 14th trip to the dentist done. The dentist took a look in the Old Soldier's mouth and said, "oh yes you have had a little ulcer there but it is healing up nicely so there is not a lot to be done", ( aggggggh !!!) anyway he drilled a little bit more off the denture to keep him happy so I hope that will be the end of it !

I took him for a birthday cup of coffee afterwards which he enjoyed and then he had champagne and birthday cake with his presents when he got home. I expect he has dozed off in his chair upstairs after all that.

Good morning! And thank you , Sarge. Though it's a bit much first thing in the morning Carer has come and gone, Mil had her tea and seems to be asleep again. I am about to have my tea and the coffee is also made. I think that's it for today, though the ironing board is looking at me quite accusingly. Tonight I am off to the theatre with a couple of friends. OH is just the chauffeur. It's going to be a very intellectual evening - we are watching Aladdin
