Trish - thank you for your thoughts, Sam seems to have recovered completely from whatever it was that got him down (sigh of relief). I am still puzzled, but happy to have my boy back. The Vet had thought liver failure and Gary said it sounded like poisoning. Poisoning probably isn't a good match as I am very careful about what is in the house since he explores everything.

There is a bed & breakfast in Cheyenne that was originally built as a family home by Erasmus Nagle in 1888. Later 1910ish, it was purchased by Francis E. Warren, Governor and Senator from Wyoming. It has been restored and is on the National Historic Register. They serve high tea there and they go all out at Christmas time. 5 of us, including Liz and myself, are going Saturday. We are taking my friend Gary's wife, a New Zealander, and another friend. I am starting to get tingly! Theodore Roosevelt is said to have dined there when Warren lived there. Hope I can wear my boots and jeans.

Happy New Year everyone! Al, have fun golfing, I used to love it myself, haven't been in years, though I still have good memories of living next to the golf course in NY.

Can't wait til Jan. 6th, season 3 of Downton Abbey starts on PBS, woohoo!
