Hi there everyone ... the Christmas shopping/present wrapping frenzy is well and truly here!

Believe it or not - but those 'lamps' are called Hookah's ...lol!
Suca - I do so envy you - I have yet to do my big food shopping. I have the turkey, the ham, and sorted out the trifle ingredients, I did have some Baileys cream filled profiteroles ... but they seem to have all gone. lol!

Wyo - hope you are ok, are you bowling tonight? Best of luck if you are!

Leslies D ... oh, isn't it just awful - the time of year when you want everything to look lovely, and it's a disaster area!
My hall carpet is just so filthy - the workmen just traipse in and out, oblivious to the mud on their shoes - I could cry.
Should all be finished off tomorrow, must say the bathroom looks fabulous now, but I have slung everything because my new colour scheme is black and white, it was lemon before. I will try and shove everything back in the airing cupboard later, if I get the chance. Oooh, ever likely you are excited moving into your new home - what an adventure! (Have a relaxing Christmas if you can - you will have so much to do before the move!)


I have just finished making some candles for the girls, and after dinner I am going to do some shopping at our new co-op supermarket. I haven't been in there yet, it just HAS to be an improvement on the old decrepit place we used to have here in Wickham.

Will try and pop in again a bit later, big hugs to everyone - especially spyder, books, old and everyone else that pops into the lounge ... hey, keep those Christmas tunes coming .....

Hello everyone! I've had a lovely evening last night. I found a new program to watch I think it is British - Rosemary & Thyme. I love it have watched 4 episodes since Wednesday. Then I watched "The King's Speech" about George VI. Learned a few things I didn't know and thoroughly enjoyed the story.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season as much as possible. It could be difficult with the remodeling and moving, but don't let it get you down.

It is still cold here, but the snow has moved on to Iowa and done it's worst for them. 27 car pile up near Des Moines. Nasty looking pictures. Of course, the wind stays here in Wyoming, but it isn't too bad in the house. LOL!
