Lightbulb Most Bids Listing advertised unfairly on homepage

For nearly 48 hours the following iPhone advert has been up on the homepage because it has had the most bids.

    http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/new-ipho...b-84544691.htm

The seller is a new member with 0 feedback, has not logged in since posting and has a dozen unanswered questions.

Surely this prominent spot right below the username in the top right corner should go to a member who has paid for featured listings?

Having a featured listing does not mean there would be any better customer service...................tho I would certainly hope it would. I think the most bids idea is a good one, and that it shouldn't be limited to featured items. I think it's too bad in this one instance that the seller seems to be so slow on responding. I hope it doesn't foreshadow any problems.

Maybe they could tighten up the algorithm for these items. It shows eBid in a very bad light if a listing given this much prominence is from a seller who does not respond. It is also the type of listing that has a high chance of being fraudulant, high value item, new member, not responding, all of these would set alarm bells ringing for me.

The item seems to have ended.

It seems to be this item with most bids now:

It was a frontpage listing plus bold & highlight, so they had paid for extras.
The criteria is just the number of bids as far as I know.
