A major PS on ebay has had their account suspended due to being accused of money laundering by Paypal. Their only crime was to mess-up so that their regular direct debit failed to credit their Paypal account, so they transferred money in from another Pp account.

I cannot find-out who the guy is as I'm not an ebay Powerseller and the forumites on MSE are not willing to name him nut have made mention that he has a F/B account and is an all-round good egg when it comes to customer service.
Just the kind of seller we need to entice on to eBid. If we can find him and pursuade hime to join us, he will likely bring loads of his customers with him.

If nothing else it might make other PS's a little nervous. One mistake and they could be off without warning or a chance to put their case. If I was in that boat I would be looking to at least get a presence elsewhere just in case.

Money laundering is a serious charge. I would think if this charge is unfounded, that would be grounds for slander.

Only problem is no one but the PS, Paypal, or whatever agency gets directly involved, is going to know. Do not see how this PS is going to be found and persuaded to come to eBid, if no one knows who they are, or is willing to say who they are.

Haven't a clue.
