The timing for this poll is interesting. I JUST got back from making a $50 deposit at the bank, and logged on to upgrade my account. But that big red $49.49 had a big red asterik, with tiny, barely visible light gray text stating that deal is only good within 24hrs. of signing up.

That sort of gimmickery really ****es me off. I had to talk myself into spending the $50, just to find out after a special trip to the bank, that it is more expensive for me because I signed up longer than 24hrs. ago. That is just plain bad business.

Give people a chance to test the site out and see what it's about, instead of rushing them into paying a membership fee. I hate gimmicks!

All in all, I've been ON the site less than 24hrs.. If I could somehow get the $49.49 deal, I would upgrade. I am not willing to spend $80 though, especially when I don't even know how much that investment will help with sales.

Bottom line, offer me the $49.49 deal, and I'll sign up.

Contact support@ebid.net and see if you can make a deal.

Done. They had a month long promo running not to long ago ($49.49 for everyone, anyday of that month).
I thought that promo was still going, which is why I ran to the bank. Well, I'll see in a couple of hours what Support has to offer.

    "SELLER+
Lifetime is currently available for £49.49 if upgrade takes place within 24
hours of registration OR any other upgrade"

So it looks like the offer is vaid again if you upgrade to the 7 day or other option first

They should just cut the B.S. and make it one price.
I'm again having reservations about giving my money to these people.

Well I was very happy to pay the $79.00.
Even at that price I believe it was the best deal I ever had online.

I too paid 79.99 when I joined and upgraded (almost immediately as the full price was 129.99 back then) and I have no regrets whatsoever. And for that we get all the bells and whistles included.

    Ya know !!!!!
For quite some time now I have been biting my tongue (typing fingers)
If for any reason I was going to do something and did not like what was going on I would just forget it.
For example, ebayers coming here complaining about how things are done,
what cost's are in using this site, nothing but complaints and wanting to change things.
I sold on ebay for 15 years and never complained about a thing.
    I JUST LEFT
When I discovered ebid I was delighted to become part of a fine group of people,
no I don't sell much, however time will tell.
I'm of the mind to welcome with open arms all that join here to help make ebid successful
and become part of whats here. Not just to suit THEIR needs
I'm certainly not opposed to constructive comments, they have their place in helping
    ebid become more successful.
    I'm not going any further.
