Thread: Nice surprise from Royal Mail

Smile Nice surprise from Royal Mail

Following on from my recorded delivery enquiry I made on here a few weeks back, well today I got a letter from Royal Mail apologising for their failure in obtaining a signature on an item that was received by me that was sent via Recorded Signed for, they also enclosed 1x book of 6 first class stamps. This is not what I was expecting.

The item cost £2.70 to be posted by the seller, the cost of the stamps was £3.60, so these stamps will come in useful when sending items out, Least on 6 items I can offer FREE postage now.

Now I thought it would be the seller who had to be reimbursed the postage costs by way of postage stamps not the buyer. Anyway I can say it was definitely a nice surprise from Royal Mail.
