I use Picmonkey which is free. You don't have to download anything either.
1. Google Picmonkey then Click Edit a photo - select from your computer & upload it.
2. See menu left hand side - bottom option is resize.
3. For forum pics need to be 500 or less.
4. Click to save.

BTW - all the other buttons are brilliant too - for your camera pictures the exposure one would be fantastic and make a big difference to you.

Excuse me for being dense, I can be quite good at it, but 500 what?
