    Default Invoice - No Postage

    Hi Guys,

    Auction No, 71171901 Postage £9.05
Just sent an invoice, marked as postage " not to be altered by the buyer"
and "Copy to be emailed to me"

The Invoice on ebid shows the postage.
The copy emailed to me has no postage.
If the email sent to the buyer also shows no postage,

This may cause a lot of problems.

Would you please confirm or not, postage included on the buyers invoice.

    Regards Ron.

    PS......Will be back about 6pm

I have just deleted and resent the invoice,
this time without ticking the " Not to be altered by the buyer"
and the invoice copy emailed to me has the postage on it.

    Could somebody explain this conundrum.

Just had the same thing happen to me (again).

6 items totalling £30 purchased by the buyer in Australia. Created an invoice, had to use the discount function to take 11.00 (5 * 2.20) off the p&p to set it to £2.20. Then ticked the 'email me a copy' and 'do not allow invoice to be changed' boxes and sent it.
When I look at the copy I received the total is now £19.00! It has lost all of the postage against each item and deducted £11.00 from the £30 item total!

Having read this thread I tried what the OP did. Deleted invoice, recreate as before but this time did not tick 'do not allow the invoice to be changed' and the copy I got (and hopefuly the buyer too) is fine. Total is correct at £32.20.

I did have this happen once before, I think that could have been an overseas one too. That time the buyer told me that when he was directed to paypal the invoice total was actually correct there even though the invoice he received was wrong.

All my other invoices have been fine. I don't understand why ticking or unticking that box should have the effect it does. One of the auctions is 66069034 if anyone wants to look into it.

That is odd indeed. Never tick the finalize box myself and haven't had any issues with postage yet, knock wood, though if there's something to the tick box causing problems it sounds like something support should check out.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I sent an invoice yesterday, ticked the 'do not allow invoice to be changed' button and my copy is correct with shipping.
