Serious glitch - No postage paid

Just happened to me for the second time this week. Buyer did not request an invoice and paid immediately. Postage costs did not transfer over to PayPal with the transaction. Kicker is the Buyer is in the Netherlands and wants Priority Mail...uh...I am not eating that...cost is $30.50 for Priority. When I choose send invoice to buyer, the postage shows on the invoice. Emailed the buyer...hopefully this will get fixed.

looks like my buyer got the correct AAL email with the shipping cost but either agnored it and or payed still altering the shipping cost they paid within the same min as hitting the buy button

its looking like a manual buyer thing as you posted it should not happen, not heard back from the buyer yet

there id checks out on the other side so will have to wait for there reply!

If this is people changing the shipping to -0- I wonder why it started all of a sudden. I don't remember reading about this in the forum before. Of course, I haven't read everything here, either.

ive never seen it brought up before too i never had the problem before if they can alter the shipping then it must be stopped it could cause a lot of problems if its becoming the Fad of the moment !

There was a problem with this happening a couple of years or so ago then it stopped. Now it seems to be ongoing again. Happens mostly with PayPal but it did happen in the past with Google also. I use calculated shipping and it will show on my listings what the shipping cost will be before they pay.

These were paid for individually via Single Item Checkouts?

If anyone has a checkout without shipping showing, please let us know before paying and we will take a look straight away.

Yes they were individual single items Gazza but I've been a member for nearly 5 years and have never had this happen before.

heard back from ebid twice now " ie9 only " seems to of been the problem and they tell me its fixed

so well done ebid fast comms and a result

also heard from the buyer who will sort out the postage payment request when they get to there PC,

this is a new buyer to ebid and my self hope there not put off by this glitch.!

Sadly, I have never used IE9 and see the issue when I buy things, will check when I next make a purchase
