It is a little bit chaotic so please budget 3-5 hours, and be patient. Many Thais helping in the organization but the facilities are not up to the volume to people donating. The place is on the street that goes from Patpong to Siam Square, very easy to find. Parking is allowed anywhere around the building.

    Rh negative Blood ..REQUIRED.. !!!
Rh negative blood is urgently needed for injured foreigners who survive from tsunamis disaster. Eligible blood doners, especially Rh negative group, please come to donate at the
Thai National Blood Center as soon as possible from 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. everyday from now.
    or
    call 0 2256 4300.
Thanks very much for your kindness

Please check in your own countries / towns with your Blood Transfusion Service to see if they are collecting donations for sending to the disaster areas.

Asian blood groups are different to western blood groups and there is a real shortage of whole blood and plasma in the areas affected, which could lead to many unneccesary post-injury deaths.

Please give blood today and mention to your medics you want it sent to the Asian Disaster areas.
