Hi Sue, did you see the pics and story from last night? I thought you might like and relate to them
Anyhow great pics Spyder will have to look close some of your gear looks similar, including the keyboards. Ive got 2 but selling one when I get round to it. dont have as many mikes as you, and wish I was a bit more technical with the PA stuff as you are, very innovative! Lol Im a bit of a girly there Im ashamed to say. Need to get a new PA and a few other bits sorted. Love the other photos too.
Al stop boasting about your half incher and give us a look at YOUR prize posessions (snigger)

I'll have to get some pictures taken when I get home tonight. The music room is also my office and family room. Like Sal I don't have either of the two PA systems hooked up but amps and speakers are all in place as well as the drums.
I haven't been selling online much so my guitar stock is small. My son and his buddies bring theirs when we play but I'll get some pics posted.
    My two fer fer today.

The first song i ever sang in public.I used to follw a trad jazz band around that had a retired Mick Mulligan on trumpet. He had invited George Melly down for a gig and Mick asked me to switch the pa on and see if it worked So a sang a couple of verses of St James.Later in the evening they said they had now got a vocalist.I waited to see who it was and Mick said "come on Spyder You are on".That was my first ever gig.Learn it on the job.The best way.Ended up singing made up dirty 12 bar with George.Good training as they would change key on me and even songs half way through.I got good at making words up to songs i did not know and just say it was the origanal version. These days you go on X factor have you 5 mins and wonder why nobody remembers you a year later.Let then do a 4 hour gig and still have people cheer you for more at the end.You don't even have to be able to sing these days as computer keeps the sound in key and they douple up your vocals if they are weak.etc etc

Ran out of time yesterday, so (deep breath). Al, lots of sympathy for your Dad, I hate to have anyone mess with my eyes - I mean really hate it! It takes all the self control I can muster just to get through the glaucoma test in the eye exam. My X, his sister, and mother all had cataract surgery the same month just before I got the ol heave ho!

Sal, I am so sorry for you, no guitars! Loved the pictures and story.

I didn't do much at bowling last night, dropped a pin from my average, but that's easy to do at the beginning of the season. One game was 150, We got thoroughly trounced, the other team had too much handicap.

The weather has been decent here, we could use some more rain if anyone cares to send some.

    OK, carry on.

Great stuff Spyder! One nice things about the drums...dont need an amp. I guess if we were playing at Wembely I might need one.

Wyo according to my Dad the surgery was pain and hassle free.

Spyder that is a fantastic story, doesn't surprise me at all from you, God I wish I'd seen you would rather see you any day than the rubbish you refer to who get famous through plastic trashy pop, all of it falsified and them too plus the morons running it making big bucks through all that fakeness, all this celebrity culture commercialised crape does my barnett in! You are worth a million of them
What a wonderful story that is, true musicianship and downright hard work.
I couldnt match or equal that, total respect to you, but I have had to make stuff up on my feet, especially if I forget the words lol
Love to picture you doing that, just brilliant.
Oh and great song too, its always nice to have your contributions,

Wyo nice to hear from you, I didnt lose my guitars, just said some of them were still in cases, not on display, maybe you got me mixed up with Spyder who said he has got rid of his now.
Have you got any recent photos for us? Love to see your pictures, feel like Im there with you!
