discontinued items were not removed after uploading bulk file with "d"

I uploaded bulk file listing the disc items. According to the directions I included my store name, the sku # , the "d" and the ##end## but the items are still active. It said you could put sku# or item name. Please help. List is too long to do it one by one manually.

Can you give us the upload reference, it can be found in My Bulk Upload and also an example row from the file that should have deleted a listing that is still running.
