I'd put Skynyrd at #1 (got the 12" version), absolutely brill to do the silly dance thing to when absolutely sloshed.

Maybe include some Little Feat and a smidge of JJ Cale.

So true Mel,Stones,,,,top band in my era...still performin,list seems to contain mainly heavy metal artists......But although relatively new...Oasis had huge following in 1996.....Johnny Cash....Jim Reeves...ballads I know.....Certain Beatles should be somewhere in there too....my own opinion only... tho....
