I've been with ebid for some time now, and have recently noticed a change in invoice notification which I find both offensive and unnecessary. Having signed on this morning I set to re-listing a batch of unsold items , which I tried to set to come on between 12 & 1pm (when I reasoned more people would be viewing ) . I sucessfully listed several items when - BANG- a red 'overdue ' notice appeared . This effectively meant I had to stop listing , sign into paypal and pay before I could continue. I wouldn't mind if I had had ANY notification prior to the 'overdue' notice! I have always paid my invoices promptly, and the amount involved (45p) was hardly going to cause ebid's immediate collapse into anarchy! Is it not possible to send a reminder to our messages 'requiring action section' rather than closing everything down ? Or at least, if you have to close it down for instant payment, can you not do it when we first sign in ?
