    That's great news. I am going through the process for son and myself at the moment. They are being really awkward insisting on letters from my gp even though my referals where not made through my gp, they were done through uni and they already have the full educational psychologists report.

    my OH claimed and his came through this morning too. Must be the day for it

    great news Penni.
    I was just reading the DWP site and I read that if you are under 64 next Aprill all DLA will end and you have to claim again for PIP even if its a life time DLA award, is this right?

    That's what we've been told in regards to our son. He's on lowest level of DLA with his autism,

    Well i an not threatening I mean it David Jones is a very good friend of a very good friend of mine, he does know of me but boy is exspensive.........well the best always is innit.
    Thing is they have let this go on for so long that they now owe me thousands and thats why they won't pay out and each week it's going up more and more, I will contact them on Monday and if they say they still havent had the paper work through from the tribunal service I will send them a copy of it every single day till they admitt they have got it.

    My letter said I will have DLA until 2014, and that is only because I may need a higher rate Carers Allowance by then

    Mine said indefinate, then I read I will have to reclaim when PIP comes in next april shakes head and wonders if these gob sho$ts know whay they are taking about,.
    Any way the bottom line is you both got yours and its something to celebrate
