    Default Non Paying Buyer

    I have recently had a non payer. Gave them time, sent invoice and 2 payment reminders. But with no contact or payment I have marked them as a non paying bidder and left a negative feedback. The thing is that if I now cancel the sale, I think that the negative will also be removed and possibly the non paying bidder, as the transaction will no longer exist. This has happened in the past. I think this is a slight flaw, we all want warnings pointing towards non payers or simply poor members, and the feedback system should provide this. Cancelling the sale for me is the easy way of ensuring that I do not get charged FVF's, and this is a £38 sale, but I also want to warn others about the buyer, Is there a way that the feedback can be left with the buyer after a sale has been cancelled.

    According to the help, there should now be an option on the AAL to request 'Refund Final Value Fee'. 'Cancel Sale' is not the right option in this case.

    The 'Refund Final Value Fee' option is not available. Not sure if it was removed when I marked as non paying bidder, if so then leaving this option would solve the problem.

    I had a similar problem recently, the option to refund FVFs only appears in the drop down menu THREE days after you sent the final invoice/payment reminder.

    That's what I was going to do. Will give it a day to see if the Refund FVF option shows. Just wanted to point out the small flaws and see if anybody else has had the same problem, if it can be sorted it will save people having to open tickets and the boys having to respond individually each time it occurs.
