Just noticed one of my listings had a gap in the title.
A bit of experimenting found it was caused by commas, well any punctuation.I changed them from full stops to hyphens, still the same.
One was ok,two caused the gap.

I believe there is a maximum number of 20 characters per single word or line of continuous characters without a space.
So Hyundai,Mitsubishi,R reaches is maximum number of characters (as there is no spacing it counts as one continual line of characters) and therefore forces the gap.
I had no idea that was the case. So my attempts at squeezing key words in the title by using commas, is obviously counter-productive.
Not even sure its a fault in coding really - I don't think its advisable to have comma's or stops in the titles, just leave them as spaces. Search engines have a history with not liking punctuation marks so far better to have spaces rather than comma's or stops.
The reason I know about the 20 character thing is having postcards from........
llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch
Which (when listed) turns into:
llanfairpwllgwyngyll gogerychwyrndrobwlll lantysiliogogogoch
I actually left it like that as google seems to connect it back up again for searchers - so in effect it covers a keyword. Not that anyone would type all that into a search but with auto complete on google they may end up with it all.
And just looking at my post above the board has a character limit as well
50 character limit by the looks of it.........
The automatic insertion of spaces was added a few years back to stop long, continuous titles from breaking the page layout.
