On the top of the Facebook page I've got clickable boxes going across which is "Photos" - "Like" - "Shop" - "eBay Items"
Does anybody know if you can have an eBid box like the eBay one for your store?
Many thanks

I'm assuming from the lack of response that this isn't possible or no one knows how to do it.

Ok, thanks for the advice.
However, you could join https://www.facebook.com/groups/6557656454/ and post a link there (one per day would be great).

woudnt touch FFB, easy to get hacked. has happen twice to me b4, email addresses, paypal account, and bugs. you'll be open to all sorts of malicious content

I have a personal facebook page where I posted the register/buddy points link to my wall which I'll be doing on a regular basis. And I have done the same on my shops facebook page as you can sign up to facebook for a business account, but you'll need to use a different email address that is not your personal email address. I have no idea how to get an eBid link to facebook the way you are talking about, but I believe this is something that eBid themselves need to create for you to be able to use it and I do not believe they have created such a thing yet, which they should do!!
As for hacking, hacking tends to happen to people who have weak passwords/easy to guess passwords. I was alerted by facebook that someone had tried to log in to my personal facebook account from a location elsewhere in the world that they did not recognise as being myself and facebook security recognised this as a threat because they know by my IP address that I only every log into my personal and business facebook page from ONE location. My personal account did not get hacked because, one, facebook recognised that it was someone from a different location so they alerted me to it and asked me if it was me logging in from this other location, and two, I have pretty decent and strong passwords that have nothing to do with names, date of births, pet names etc.
When creating a password, always use letters and numbers, for instance, if your password is a "word" with i's or e's in it, substitue the i's for 1's and the e's for 3's. Or you can create your own random password that is not an actual word but is just a random sequence of upper and lower case letters with numbers thrown into the mix. And never use facebook log in passwords for things like auction site accounts or accounts with places like PayPal, that's just asking for trouble if you do get hacked on facebook.
One other reason why people do tend to get hacked on social network sites is because they are on multiple social netowrking sites (facebook/twitter/bebo etc.) and they "link" the accounts up as you can do this now, NEVER do this, it is just asking for trouble and makes it easier for hackers as your information is shared between the social networking sites when you link things up!!
“Doing business without proper advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you are doing but nobody else does and the girl doesn't even know you're winking at her either."
I understand all that re; passwords i do do the same as you too, but there getting more savvy at hacking, lot easier not to be on Fad Book. too hard
A Pity a few spoil for the many, isnt it.
