    Infact, I have just found this, could be worth a try, well its free anyway;

    Dial - 020 8605 3000

Then - eBay UK main menu; select option 1 to be put through to PayPal (same as calling through 0870 number)
and its only a 020 number. Let us all know if it works?

Oh well, its worth a try on Monday, I have had rubbish service in the past trying to communicate with paypal via email. It seems they just want to fob you off. But when I have phoned them up I have found the operators very helpful.
So I dont bother emailling any more, same as ebay, their email system is also carp
Good luck. Let us know how you get on..

You have my sympathy Pink. The other place is worse. Just google "..... account evaluation". They keep your money for 30, 90 days or even longer. They do an 'evaluation' and freeze all your money. Their cs tell you to carry on trading and comply with requests for info and it will be sorted in hours... complete pack of lies! All in the name or warranties... on computer games? Yeah right...

They keep all of your money with no hope of you getting any of it for as long as they want. They refuse contact or discussion. Thats why I quit selling there. I took down all my listings, to stop further sales. Good thing I did or I would have been bankrupt.
I remember everything, even what happened tomorrow.

PayPal, so far, is only doing this for sales on the Bay...A couple of years ago there was posted on the site a list: Your Payments Will Not Be Held if you do x, y, z etc. That has been removed with a list of things that say why your payments may be held. Word is, however, that you get "PayPal Payment Jail" for not selling enough, selling too much, getting DSR rating dings, getting neg/neutral ratings, selling in a different category, or simply being a newbie.
There is not exact criteria, it is all secret. They even let newbies have a few payments before lowering the net on them.

Sellers that sell here and elsewhere have reported that they payments from the pal are credited right away. It is only on the Bay that you become enslaved. Due to bad media press, paypal declared that they would put the amount of "held funds" into a non-interest bearing account so they could no longer be accused of doing it to make money on the float.

Nobody really believes them. Again....it is all secret.

For those who reside in Europe, be advised that Paypal is registered as a "bank" in Luxembourg (sp?) Banking rules should apply perhaps.

Again, PayPal payment jail has nothing to due with your tenure or years of exemplary service as a seller.

but if they say that they will cough up after 21 days, or if feedbacks recieved, or if delivery is proven, then they need to legally stick to that, and could be legally challenged if they do not.

Here it is in a nutshell; Opened a new ebay & paypal late last year sold and got paid for 1st item 1st march 2012.
No probs to begin with and then the hammer came down.
I've been whinging like mad, but II must be contacting robots!
See below latest email I sent em.
Can you see what I mean?
[Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding payments on hold in your PayPal account, Mr. ******
I appreciate the time you've taken to bring this matter to my attention. I understand that you have holds in place on your account at the moment and you wish to have you funds released.

I have looked into your account and I can see that at the moment, there are no funds on hold within your account.]

That is not true .I have just checked and there is still £48.00+ on hold £30 of which should have been released by now as delivery was confirmed on Tuesday 13th and tracking No has been provided to paypal.

[As part of our payment holds for new eBay sellers, we'll hold the money from your eBay transactions for up to 21 days. The funds for payments received are held temporarily as a pending balance in your account. New sellers on eBay are sellers who received payment for their first eBay sale less than 90 days ago.

I received my 1st payment for an ebay sale on 1st March 2012 @ 13:15hrs - By my estimation that is over 90 days and therefore I am not a 'new seller'. Further more I have provided evidence that I have another ebay account with over 1500 positive 100% feedback; so I do have a proven track record.

You can appreciate that 'cash flow' is the lifeblood of any trading environment - To have it cut will have a major impact on my ability to trade.
