Is there a "Wanted to Buy" list on eBid?

I look as best as I can before I ask. ...have not found one for which we could submit our listings that "qualify". For instance, I am peculiarly fascinated and entranced by old Paris Exhibition things related to the Palace of Electricity. I search alot, but if I could post a "wanted" I might get more information. The listing should be posted on eBid prior to contact, or course, to keep things above board. But it might be helpful. Just wondering.

If I understand correctly, according to some of the veteran members there used to be a wanted section on eBid that was removed, not sure why myself, though I'm sure others will know.

I agree, a wanted section would be nice, but in the meantime you might want to post what you're looking for on the KT. I've seen others do this, (myself included).

From what I can remember, you had to pay to create a Wanted listing, so, not many members used it and therefore, eBid got rid of it.

Just go to the appropriate forum or the Kitchen Table (where most of the mob hang out) and start a WANTED thread. Works great.

No, you didn't have to pay but they mostly seemed to be created and then abandoned. Whenever I replied to one, I received no answer.

Resurrecting a fairly old thread but thought it may be of interest to those requested a 'Wanted' list....

This has now been withdrawn on fleabay. Support give the reason as 'not enough people using it'.

Found it very useful myself.

It really became a graveyard here - ask on the forums, set up saved searches - if wanted doesn't work on the big site, it is unlikely to work here.
