Thread: vacation/holidays

  1. #1

    Default vacation/holidays

I get married 2 weeks today woohoo
my question though is.. obviously a honeymoon is just around the corner so with my active listings is it best just to take the store offline for the period or will i have to close and recreate all auctions?

Congratulations !! I hope the weather is this lovely for your wedding day

You can put a holiday notice on your store whilst you're away - you set it up in 'my notices' section of my eBid.

Congrats and best wishes to you both!!

Sucadot is right, as always. With the holiday notice your listings will still be visible, so people can see your items, and watch them, but just not bid on them. Then, you just change your holiday notice when you get back, and it's all up and running!
    Ta-Ta for now!

Congrats on your wedding! Agree with the above, use a holiday notice in stores (under My Notices). Just don't forget to tick the active box to make the notice active and untick the active box when you come back from your honeymoon.

Best wishes for many sales to all,

Just to make clear, taking a store offline does not affect the visibility of any items within that store. They simply revert to being listings outside of any store.
