Duplicate titles are weeded out automatically?

I'm puzzled. I keep finding duplicate listings - I've just spotted "Crochet pattern - Tablecloth in Square motifs 5962"

Now, obviously I only wanted one of these. They started about 3 hours apart and I'm totally puzzled as to how they have survived. I would have started one by clicking "delete all" and "repost all" on the items unsold page.

P.S. I haven't closed either just so they are there for support to see. Please, support, don't delete them both!

usually, as a general rule, though I have noticed a few things have got through occaisionally.

The thing about this is that I didn't start the second one! It's a glitch!
