If the following sounds a bit flippant - its not meant to be.....
That sales figure of 1,008 could have been a lot more - but I am trying to get gradual growth rather than rapid growth, I work long hours so my time is often limited, therefore I need to keep sales under a reasonable amount of control.
I noted that you started a thread 'New Seller' a while ago - If you want I will comment on that when I get some time (probably at the weekend) there would be a lot of info for you to consider.
Well done deano.
Post cards do seem to do very well on eBid but I do not think that eBid deserves the praise. Yes, they provide the platform but maybe you also did your homework.
Postcards and sportcards have always done well on eBid so it seems to me that other 'categories' could do with a push. How? Well, I can only speak from experience. Craft items don't seem to do too badly along with gifts - sales on either both mean you have what the buyer wants. The 'old' type collectable stuff does quite well to - I've been watching a member.
So, 1008 sales (144 on average per month) is good for you but does not say a lot for sellers of other items.
okay I know I will get slated for this answer I have broad shoulders so type away! LOLOL

And, just what happened to all the items this seller had listed. Did he sell all of those postcards? The seller's store is empty.
Bill K-
Really? I must be looking at another store.

In my browser there are 0 Auctions.

I don't make my listings available to overseas - which is why you can't see any listings...
As I said before I want a gradual increase in sales due to time constraints. I still do get international sales despite this because of buyers using google and asking me extremely nicely - if I have the time then I accept the sale, if I don't I decline.
Ooops sorry Deano, I'm a bit slow *off to make a cuppa tea*
